Microsoft released today its new Antivirus program. It is free, lightweight and powerful.

I really think it is a great product from Microsoft. It gives PC users the choice on how to secure their PCs without compromise on the quality and price. There are many great subscription offerings in the market, with more maintenance and backup features. I personally like the new Windows 7 maintenance and backup features so I don’t feel the need to pay for those.

Remember, like any other Antivirus, you need to uninstall the one installed on your computer before installing a new one (Control Panel, Uninstall a program).
